How do I set up a merchant account?

Before the merchant can be technically connected to the ecoPayz system, there are certain arrangements that need to be made, e.g. firewall opening, database updates. ecoPayz will then send a form requesting all the necessary information. After that ecoPayz will send all necessary details for the merchant’s operational environment including passwords, usernames, the Merchant Integration Guide (MIG) and any other information the merchant needs to connect to the ecoPayz system.

Merchant account testing procedure

Once a merchant receives the necessary technical information regarding the accounts which have been created for them in the ecoPayz system (and supplied the requested information to ecoPayz technical department), they are able to start testing these accounts. The merchant is provided with a "Merchant Test Account" and a "User Test Account". Both accounts have the same functionality as live ones and are used to test the technical set up and purchase/payout transfer procedures without involvement of real money. As soon as both the merchant and ecoPayz are satisfied with the test results the merchant can go live.

How do I add more billing accounts?

Contact your account manager specifying the currency(-ies) of the billing account(s) you would like us to add and we’ll set up new account(s) in a matter of minutes.
