Your safety
is our priority

ecoPayz provides you with a simple and easy way to spend online. The security and integrity of your personal information is our top priority and we use the latest technology and security solutions to provide you with a fast, secure payment system.

Secure and private

Keeping your information safe is our top priority, and we help protect your information by keeping it in a secure environment. When you use your ecoAccount, your personal financial information is not shared with anyone and your payment method is not disclosed.

By using ecoPayz, you reduce the possibility of your personal information being exposed online and adds a layer of protection against viruses, spyware and attacks from hackers.

Technology to keep you safe

All transactions are automatically encrypted from your browser to our website using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol or its successor Transport Layer Security protocol, depending on your browser capabilities. The site is certified by the Certification Authority helping to ensure that your information is held securely.

Servers which hold any private information are physically separated from all other hardware in restricted, highly secure areas.

Total protection

We use the latest security and fraud solutions with the highest standards of data security and encryption, complying with the Payment Card Industry and Data Security Standards (PCI and DSS).

We are also authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) so you can rest assured your money and information is safe and secure.

Security tips

By following some simple guidelines, you can help protect yourself from online scams and phishing emails.

Never share your password

You will never be asked to disclose your password by an ecoPayz representative. Phishing emails are sent by people, perhaps pretending to be from ecoPayz, and they will ask you to disclose security information.

Don't: These are probably from criminals looking to take over your account and steal your money.

Check your URL’s

Always check when you log in to ecoPayz that the URL in the address bar starts with https://. The ‘s’ stands for ‘secure’ – https://www.ecopayz.com/ or https://secure.ecopayz.com/ and this is the ONLY page at which you should enter your login information. There may also be a padlock symbol on your browser, and in some the address bar or name of the site owner will turn green to show that the website has been authenticated.

Create a secure password

The best passwords are at least 8 characters in length, and combine letters, numbers and symbols. Combining a simple phrase with a couple of significant numbers or symbols is an easy way to create an easy to remember and secure password.

Update your password

By changing your password on a regular basis, you reduce the chance of it being compromised. Also, if you ever suspect that someone might have discovered your password, be sure to reset it as soon as possible.

Do not use the same password or username

Using the same password at multiple sites will increase the chances of someone being able to access your account.

Always sign out

When using public computers like in a library or internet café, remember that you may still be signed in to your account even after you close the browser. So when using a public computer, always be sure to sign out.
